Precious Pomanders & Mermaid Tail - pendant, slide & cord ends

This is a listing for 2 tutorials, one for the Precious Pomanders, and one for the Mermaid Tail. The Mermaid Tail is a lovely cord end and slide design that complements beautifully the Precious Pomanders design when worn as a pendant.

The first is a 16-page PDF with step by step instructions for the Pomander and the second is a 17-page PDF showing how to make the beaded beads composing the Mermaid Tail.

The pomander design is very versatile. It starts by being a lovely napkin ring, and then morphs into a pretty flower, or tiny bowl, and then becomes a bauble that you can 'jewel up' with chain, golden drops, charms and a tassel, or crystals. It is approx. 3cm / 1.25”high and wide and looks very nice on a soft chirimen cord or chain. It can also be used as home decor. 

Materials are the same for both beaded items: Japanese seed beads in size 15/0, 11/0 and 8/0 and cylinder beads size 11/0, seed bead drops (Miyuki) and of course thread in a matching color, needles (#11­, 12, ­13) cord and scissors.

Optional materials are jump rings, drops, charms, a tassel and a 20mm felt ball or 16mm harmony ball

The instructions are in English with very clear, detailed illustrations, easy to understand, and photos.

Level: intermediate to advanced - start with the Pomander before trying the beaded beads.

Technique: Dimensional Cellini peyote with a "flames" start.
