Butterfly Rope Lariat - Tutorial

$7.00

This is a listing for a full color 9-page PDF which will show you step by step how to make the Butterfly Rope Lariat. You will immediately receive an e-mail with a link to download the tutorial - you will not receive the items shown in the photos.

I made the beautiful butterfly rope to compliment a gorgeous flower bead made by Lea Avroch and loved the result so much, that I made a tutorial.

The lariat is 45 inches/115 cm in total- not too long (to prevent the focal bead from hitting a table top), and it offers various possibilities to be worn. This is a quite easy and fast project. With this rope, you can also make bracelets or a simple, pretty ring.

Level: Intermediate. Knowledge of Right Angle Weave is an advantage but not essential.

Technique: RAW and MRAW (Modified Right Angle Wave), fringing, stringing.

Material: Japanese Seed Beads size 11/0 in 2 colors, superduo beads, Firepolished beads, small Czech glass leaves, crystal teardrop beads 12x8mm, one focal bead and the usual (thread, needles, scissors).

Check out my other designs using this technique, the Butterfly Rope Bracelet and the Butterfly Rope Matinée, another nifty way of attaching a beautiful focal to the rope including tips how to make a curved rope.

You can buy the 3 patterns all together for a special price.

Important note: avoid printing, or print more than one page per sheet; my patterns are designed for use with electronic devices and may print very large.
