The jewelry is reversible. On one side an 8mm chaton peeks through the center of the wheel-bezel and the other side there is a little periwinkle flower. Compare the two sides in the photo of the earrings. The bezels build up quicky.

The first time I heard about a Catherine wheel was about the age of 20. I was a super dynamic 'junior' secretary supporting a Maltese biologist and she said that it was a type of spinning fireworks, and... that it described me well... lol. It was a compliment. This joyful spinning wheel is what inspired the name of the little wheel shapes I made to bezel the 8mm crystal chatons.
