Butterfly Rope Matinée Necklace - Tutorial

This necklace measures 22 inches/60 cm in total), which is the typical length of a Matinée necklace. Also, Matinée means 'morning' in French. It is simple yet elegant. The firepolished beads can be replaced with other beads, like pinch beads, which results in a Lady-bug rope. The The butterfly rope is exactly what you need to make matching ropes for focal beads but is also very nice as a rope for eyeglasses, or for lariats. It builds up pretty quicky. Level: Beginner to Intermediate. Knowledge of Right Angle Weave is an advantadge but is not essential.

Technique: RAW, MRAW (Modified Right Angle Wave).

Material: Japanese Seed Beads size 11/0 in 2 colors, superduo beads, Firepolished beads, one focal bead and the usual (thread, needles, scissors).
