Mr. Puddlepond - Frog - Component - Tutorial

$16.00

This is a listing for a 19-page PDF which will show you step by step how to make Mr. Puddlepond the little frog.
You will receive an e-mail from the Indiemade platform, with a link to your personal download section of the tutorial - you will not receive the beaded frog itself.

For those who want a frog prince, a free pattern for its crown is available in my "portfolio" where little patterns can be downloaded using the "zoom" option and than "right-click" to download the image.

Mr. Puddlepond’s body is 3.5cm long and the entire frog can be much larger depending on how you use it, it is pretty flexible and playful. He is made with a puzzle of peyote shapes called “petals”, together with other elements. The first pages of this tutorial explain the basics of the petal method. If you wish to learn more about petals, you can join my “From Petal to Pod” group on Facebook, or buy a tutorial for one of my designs using them (for example the Pompom Pendant or Peace Lily).

It takes a lot of short bits of thread for the small elements, unpractical to hold, but if you take it easy (breathe well while beading and stretch your body often!) your patience will pay. There is a lot to learn, explained in the easiest possible way.

The instructions are in English with very clear, detailed, full-color illustrations and photos, easy to understand.

Techniques:

Dimensional Peyote “petals”

Level: difficult (for advanced or motivated intermediate beaders who do not fear a challenge). Knowledge of geometric peyote stitch is neccessary (you can learn this in my "From Petal to Pod Group").
