This tutorial will teach you how to make the beautiful Cosmic Spiral Rope in 4 versions. How to make the 4 ropes is thoroughly explained in this tutorial, and it teaches you not only these designs, but also everything you need to know to make your own fabulous, bad ass spiral, with your own bead choice. A heptagonal variation of Diamond Weave was used to create it. The tutorial counts lots of clear photos and illustrations and text. 

Level: even though this rope is pretty simple to bead once you "get it", this tut is for advanced beaders. You need to master Diamond Weave. This tutorial is kind of a Master class in spiralling DW.

Materials: from seed beads in size 11/0 only to a mix of bugle beads, 3mm glass pearls, 2,5mm fire-polished beads and demi-rounds size 8/0, depending on the rope you want to make. Ropes 1&2 have a magnetic ball clasp, rope 3 has a toggle clasp and the 4th rope none, but a charm, optional, is added at the bottom of the latter. You can substitute some beads by shaped beads.
