$13.00

This is a listing for a full-color 17-page PDF which will show you step by step how to make these Cellini beaded beads which can be used alone, or form the Mermaid Tail.

Note: the photo of the Little Mermaid is shown only for inspirational purposes and the making of this tiny doll is not explained in the tutorial, but information like the size and behaviour of the bigger beaded bead is given so that you can play with this idea.

Hollow, symmetric beaded beads become cord ends and a slide, practical for bags or purses. Snuggled up, they look like an articulated mermaid tail. They are very suitable for cords up to 6mm that are soft and flexible like Chirimen cord. They can be used for other cords too, or as earrings, or simply as beaded beads / spacer beads in a necklace. Chirimen cord is Japanese kimono fabric filled with cord. The size of the beaded beads differs depending on the number of rows you add. The examples explained in this turorial measure approx. 3cm / 1.25” by 15mm (slightly more than a half inch)

Materials : Japanese seed beads in size 15/0, 11/0 and 8/0 and cylinder beads size 11/0, cord.
