Parrots - Earrings, Beaded Beads

This is a listing for a full-color 9-page PDF which will show you step by step how to make Parrot Earrings.

The earrings explained in this tutorial measure approx. 3cm / 1.25” by 10mm (less than a half inch). They have a beautiful "voluto" shape, but they make me of sitting parrots. The beaded beads you can make with this method can also be used as components for necklaces and bracelets.

Materials : Japanese seed beads in size 15/0, 11/0 and 8/0 and cylinder beads size 11/0, ear hooks or studs and jump rings.

Thread in a matching color, Needles (#11­, 12,­13) and scissors.

Optional:  jump rings, drops or charms, feathers, etc.

The instructions are in English with very clear, detailed illustrations, easy to understand, and photos.

Level: Intermediate to advanced beaders: although the earrings are small, they are not the easiest project in this series. 

Technique: Dimensional Cellini peyote with a "flames" start.

Ecological note: M patterns print very large because they are optimized for use with tablets. They print beautifully though, but it i recommended to print 2 pages on one sheet to save ink and paper.
