Lady Bug, Spider & Grass Blade - Components - Tutorial

$9.00

This is a listing for an 11-page PDF which will show you step by step how to make the two different Lady Bugs, the Spider and the Grass blade they are squatting.

You will receive an e-mail from the Indiemade platform, with a link to your personal download section of the tutorial - you will not receive the beaded critters.

Using 15/0, the lady bug is approx. 1cm in length and in width, and it is very fiddly to make, but very satisfying. The spider was made with 11/0 to practice with these before making the lady bug. The spider measures approx. 2x2cm.

Made with peyote shapes called “petals”, the grass blade with 3-drop geometric peyote.  If you wish to learn more about petals, you can join my “From Petal to Pod” group on Facebook, or check out my tutorials for other designs using them (for example the Pompom Pendant or Peace Lily).

The instructions are in English with very clear, detailed, full-color illustrations and photos, easy to understand.

Techniques:

Dimensional Peyote “petals”

Level: experienced (or motivated intermediate beaders who do not fear a challenge). Knowledge of geometric peyote stitch is neccessary (you can learn this in my "From Petal to Pod Group").

Materials: size 11/0 and 15/0 seed beads, nylon thread of your choice, and the usual (thread, etc)
